Q. How does this work?
A. The process is simple - You invite your friends and co-workers, family and neighbors. We separate each person's gold by karat (10, 14k, 18k, etc). We then weigh each group on a special jeweler's scale. Each group has a specific price which is derived from the current day's gold market value. We calculate the total and explain the breakdown to the guest, at which point they can decide to sell any or all gold that they choose. There is absolutely no pressure to sell, and everything is explained in detail right in front of them. We can even set up private appointments that you get credit for.
Q. Will I have to buy something at the party?
A. There is absolutely nothing to buy. Unlike other parties, leave your checkbook home…you’re leaving with full payment that night!
Q. Will I earn money hosting my own gold party?
A. Yes! You receive 10% of whatever we buy at your party. The reason we pay 10% to our hosts is because this represents our budgeted marketing allowance. Whether we spend that money advertising in a newspaper and paying for a hotel conference room, or whether we give it to a host, it's the same amount for us. Remember there are also other cash incentives as well.
So, for example, if we buy $6,000 in gold at your party, you will receive $600. We also give you $25 to pay for food and beverages for your party, and larger groups will receive more. Plus, you will receive $10 for each person at your party who decides to host a party of their own. If 5 people book parties, you receive an extra $50 that night for a total of $675!
Q. How do I notify guests about my party? Do I have to buy stamps and send out invitations?
A. We make it simple! We provide you with top quality, tasteful invitations that explain exactly how it works. We also send you an email-able invitation that you can quickly and easily forward to your guests. Then, we stay in touch with you before your party to answer any questions that come up, send you more invitations if need be, and to confirm the total expected number of guests so we can arrive to your party prepared.
Q. Why do guests love coming to a gold party?
A. Most home parties require guests to spend money buying items they may not have otherwise wanted or needed. Still, many people come to these parties either out of obligation, or they simply want to enjoy an evening with friends. A gold party is the exact reverse – imagine inviting your friends over to a free party in which instead of asking them to come SPEND money, you help them to MAKE money?! Since just about everyone has unwanted and broken gold jewelry, it's appealing to almost everybody.
Q. What do you do with the gold?
A. After the party, we melt out the impurities in the gold, pour them into mold form, weigh and stamp each newly formed gold bar, and then get each group of gold ready to be traded as a commodity. We accept the risk of the fluctuating gold markets.
Q. What do I do?
A. Set a date and time:
- You will want to schedule your party with us at least two - three weeks out, to have time to invite your guests and get their replies. We can accommodate most gold party times; evening events are the most popular. Most parties will last about 2 to 3 hours from start to finish.
- Invite over as many people as possible.
Parties are typically 8-15 people; keep in mind only a portion of those invited will attend. The more gold, the bigger commission opportunity for you! - We will provide $25 toward refreshments that evening. We can budget more for larger groups.
- Choose from a winet tasting event or a chocolate tasting event, we supply the goodies!
Q. Where do you set up?
A. An office desk or kitchen table is best. We prefer to have the guests sit down one at a time for an individual consultation. If necessary we can bring a table and chairs and you provide the area.
Q. How do I schedule a party?

Q. Do you buy diamonds at parties?
A. If you have someone who wants to sell a diamond, let us know. We can set up a private appointment to make an offer on your diamonds over 1.00 carat.
Q. I have my own home party business selling other products; will you do a party with us?
A. Yes, we have partnered with others making the event even more profitable for the host. Ask us about our partnership program.
Q. What if I can’t make the party, how can I sell my jewelry?
A. You can call us to schedule an appointment or mail in your items by requesting a shipping packet.

Q. What Happens To My Jewelry?
A. Before we can make you an offer on your jewelry items, we test and determine its gold content.
Your jewelry is being purchased strictly for its gold content. After we purchase your jewelry it is melted, refined and turned into gold bars to be sold on the international gold market.
Q. How can you pay more than the internet sites, pawn shops and jewelers?
A. We don’t spend millions of dollars on advertising, as other companies do. We rely on our satisfied customers to refer us to their family and friends. Q. How Can I Tell If My Items Are Gold, Platinum or Silver?
A. Most items are stamped with the quality of metal. If you are unsure an item is gold, bring it with you and we will test on the spot for free.
Q. Why trade your gold in for cash now?

Q. Can you give me an exact price before seeing an item?
A. Unfortunately we cannot. This is because there are too many variables that affect values. We must physically inspect each item in order to determine its value.
Q. Can I feel confident that I will be receiving the best price for my jewelry?

Q. Why not send my jewelry to one of those internet sites?
A. Unfortunately, the internet is littered with “get rich quick” companies that pay next to nothing for your jewelry. From what we’ve seen, we have paid over 10 times more than some “mail in” internet sites. In our opinion, it’s simply too risky to “send your gold in an envelope” and hope for the best.
Q. What about broken jewelry or items that have missing and broken stones?
A. Selling these jewelry items is not a problem. Many items sustain damage during years of wear. The World Gold Buyers consistently pays top prices for jewelry in any condition.
Are all solid gold jewelry items melted down?
A. If a piece of gold jewelry is rare or is a designer item, then it will be valued as jewelry. We will advise you of your options. If a piece of gold jewelry is not rare or not a name designer item, then it will be valued at the melt down value of the gold or platinum. With today’s high prices of gold, even your broken jewelry will be valuable.
Q. Do you provide written appraisals?
A. We do not provide written appraisals, we only provide verbal offers for your items. It’s important to note that offers are different from appraisals. Appraisals are used for “replacement insurance value” and an offer is the value of the item for purchase.
Q. What about selling to a pawnshop?
A. Selling to The World Gold Buyers will give you the highest prices and the best overall experience. We buy jewelry at 300% more on average than your local pawn shop or jewelry store would give you. Remember we have a 110% price quarantee.
Q. What is the 110% Price Guarantee?
A. We pay the highest prices for gold in the industry, and we proudly back our payouts with a 110% Price Guarantee. If you find a payout higher than ours, we will match that price, plus pay you an additional 10% of the difference! Just show us the offer you have received along with the gold price of that day. Q. We have limited resources; where should we host a party?
A. Depending upon the number of guests you expect, we can hold buying events anywhere you choose.
Q. What will the event cost us to host?
A. We do all the work. We ask you to participate in the invitation process. We can provide professional invitations and web based invitations. Your guests walk away with money and your charity walks away with money that evening.
Q. Will our guests have to buy anything?
A. No, they will be surprised that we ask them the “leave your checkbook home”. They bring their unwanted and broken jewelry and leave with full payment.
Q. How long will we have to wait for the charity’s money?
A. You will be paid in full that night.
Q. Are there others ways to raise money that evening?
A. Yes, we can suggest creative ways to engage your guests and have fun.
Q. Is this legal? Do we need a special license?
A. The World Gold Buyers LLC is a licensed business, and we follow Arizona law when purchasing precious metals. We also obtain any necessary permits in the town the event is held.

A. We can put an event together quickly; however the more people attend the event the better, so planning is important.
